"Students in my class will become familiar with the language of the Visual Arts so that they can explain their processes for completed works of art. Most importantly, I aim to have students comfortable with sharing their ideas and personal art as well as a way to build confidence in themselves. I see art as a great way to express ideas and feelings that can be difficult to put into words. Art is great for uniting people of various backgrounds together because it allows us to express similar ideas, feelings, and experiences through various mediums."
